Saudi electricity authority seeks renewable investors


The governor of Saudi Arabia's Electricity and Co-Generation Regulatory Authority has said the kingdom is to seek private investment in its efforts to develop solar power and other forms of renewable energy, Bloomberg has reported. The kingdom plans for solar projects to become operational within 10 years. Saudi Arabia is restructuring its electricity industry and will allow more private investment in power generation.
